01 — How it works
Phone number in, discount code out.
No passwords and no app to download. A member taps the button, enters their phone number, and gets a six-digit code by text — the same identity they use at your in-store kiosk, so online and in-store are one balance, one record, one history.
Redeeming online mints a single-use Shopify discount code scoped to that reward — a $10-off, a percentage, a free product — and offers to apply it at checkout in one tap. Codes expire, can't be shared, and debit points the moment they're issued, so there's no double-dip window.
02 — Why it matters
The online half of a store program.
Most kiosk-first loyalty platforms stop at the front door: points in store, nothing on the website. Most ecommerce loyalty apps do the opposite. The widget closes the loop — the customer who checks in on Tuesday sees the same balance on your site Thursday night and spends it without calling the store. Install is genuinely one line in your theme; removal is deleting it. It sits above your theme's own navigation on mobile and stays out of the way until tapped.
